Beat Loneliness: Simple Steps to Build Meaningful Connections

It is the tale of every folk. The loneliness. The urbanization of the villages caused the existence of a loneliness culture. For example, I would like to draw your attention to the cavemen. They used to live in a community. The core purpose of the community was to arrange food for each other or take part in gossip parties. In villages, people still spend time gathering at a particular place and there are some codes and conducts for every community member to follow. Like maintaining relationships within the community and exchanging the news, and latest happenings with each other. In earlier times, those who were unwilling to accept the rules and conduct of the community would be given either a life sentence or outcasting from society. Some decades ago the tradition of punishment of outcasting rebellions is still in fashion. The person who is outcasted may face isolation, loneliness (complete cutoff from society), and untouchability. He would not be offered any respect by others. However, it is not quite common in the current time frame.

On the other, in cities, no one cares about others. Urban people are being captured by stress and anxiety. It is a common phenomenon in the cities. You must have heard the news of those people who died in their closed flat and even his neighbors remained unaware of the death next door for many days.       

The term “privacy” is so the cacophony that even pets want privacy. And this is the main cause of loneliness. In the state of anxiety, the anti-depression pills have been part of their daily routine. 

1)How to stay calm

happiness is not a thing dependable on particular situations but it is the choice of a human. One thing he has to do is change his mindset. I am giving you a common example, my colleague was screaming at and scolding his son for not obtaining expected marks in his final exams. He got a red face with anger and fume. Suddenly I called him in the middle of Hullaegulu and he answered my call peacefully saying- “Anadi can we talk a bit later.”? He controlled his anger for some moments while talking on the phone. We can own the controller of our emotions. Like my colleague cooled down his temper while answering my call, similarly anybody can immobilize their angry emotions seem to be uncontrollable. We never think of commanding our brain to calm in the worst state of mind. But once we start doing so our minds will respond accordingly. The basic formula to stay calm is to never abuse or even think in mind bad words for others. The feeling of love produces love and the feeling of hatred produces hatred. When you start loving others, in return you will get even more love than you have given to them. It is the rule of the universe. Ok let’s verify this formula, when you decide to purchase a red sports car next week, you will start noticing more red sports cars of a particular brand downtown. It is the basic principle of the universe what you have inside the same you will get outside.

2)Overcome loneliness

there are many of your classmates or colleagues but if I talk about friends there are only two or three genuine friends in one’s life. And when you start living life the way I suggested above, you will begin attracting more people of your interests toward you. And they will pamper you with a pile of dopamines. 

If you are alone it means you have never appreciated your hidden talent. Everybody has a kind of skill. Just explore yourself and you will find the skill that you would love. Mine is writing and since I started writing I started attracting my type of folks toward me. You should never wear the complaining nature. People hate such guys who always keep singing the same song to them.
